The first full trailer is now out for Christopher Guest’s new movie “Mascots,” coming a few weeks after a teaser for it.
Dining With Strangers is not a movie news site, but the film features two hilarious actors who’ve been featured on this site. Jim Piddock was the second interview, back in 2008 when I had far fewer grew hairs and a thinner waistline. He stars in and co-wrote the film with Mr. Guest.
The second stranger who features in “Mascots” is Michael Hitchcock. I met him more recently, sharing an enjoyable lunch with Michael in Los Angeles in October 2014.
Jim’s Twitter profile shows he’s already set off to Canada, where later today he’ll attend the movie’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival ahead of its launch on Netflix October 13.
