Interview 111: Meeting Donna Lynne Champlin At Messhall

Last Friday I uploaded part one of a two-part interview with actress Donna Lynne Champlin, talking about how her discovery of metaphysics helped shape her career.

Here’s part two of the interview, in which she charts the course of her career that started at the age of three when she picked up tap dancing. Since then, she’s developed outstanding skills in acting, other types of dance, and singing, and plays several instruments including the piano and flute. It’s a portfolio of talent that sees her regularly drawing rave reviews for her work on film, stage and television.

We met at the wonderful Messhall Kitchen in Los Angeles, where for an enjoyable hour and a quarter Donna Lynne told many interesting and detailed stories about her work, which includes the CW musical comedy drama television show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, the Comedy Central show Another Period, a number of film roles, and an almost countless list of stage performances.
