Throwback Thursday 19 is the third of four meals with strangers in Providence, Rhode Island back in April 2010. This time it was dinner with local realtor Bob Black at Greek restaurant Andrea’s, talking about his (sadly now defunct) blog extolling the benefits of living in Rhode Island.
You know those people you meet for the first time but feel like you’ve known forever? That’s Bob. From the start we talked with such ease that we could have been friends for years. Among the happiest and most talkative strangers I’ve met, Bob has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious. I had a great time during our interview.
Although I’ve yet to make it back to Providence, there are a couple of good news nuggets to report: Andreas is still in business, and Bob and his family are all doing fantastically.
