Ever wanted a tattoo? The 27th sequential Throwback Thursday is my December 2010 dinner with tattoo artist Paul Roe. Over a meal of fantastic French food at Montmartre in DC’s Eastern Market, Paul told me how “I’m in your skin” when designing high quality tattoos, which he did out of his company British Ink based in the District.
I didn’t stay in touch with Paul after the interview, but a quick Google search reveals that he moved to Syracuse, New York, in April 2016 after more than 20 years in DC. He’s opened a tattoo parlor up there, and still visits his prior home, according to his website.
