My 36th dinner was the second of two interviews from a weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, in August 2011. I had lunch at Caviar & Bananas with Caroline Nuttall, who at the time was in charge of Charlie — an online magazine devoted to promoting culture in Charleston, everything from food to music and from art to dance. Her love of the city was evident within seconds, and she was a wonderful host for a fun lunch where she explained what’s so great about Charleston. I’d be happy to visit again.
