Jane Lynch and Kate Flannery (my dining companions for the 116th dinner interview in January) are hitting the road with their annual festive concert “A Swingin’ Little Christmas” in California, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan and New York.
They’ll be joined at each of the shows with singer Tim Davis, who was the musical arranger for the hundreds of cover songs on the television musical show Glee, and music provided by the Tony Guerrero Quintet.
I saw “A Swingin’ Little Christmas” when it came to Washington, DC, in 2018 — that’s how I met Jane and Kate and organized the interview, which took place a few weeks after the concert, in Los Angeles where they both live. Sadly they won’t be visiting the District this year, but if you’re in any of the states where it’s playing I highly recommend purchasing a ticket quickly, as it might sell out.
