Throwback Thursday 53: Born To Run

My publishing schedule has been thrown for a bit of a loop due to coronavirus and switching to doing the day reporting job entirely from home, but there are three new interviews on the way, with the next either late this week or early next week.

For today, here’s the 53rd Throwback Thursday interview: my February 2014 dinner with Matt Abruzzese at The Fainting Goat in Washington, DC. New York state native Matt fell in love with the District of Columbia when he moved to the city for an internship several years ago. He now lives and works in the city full time, and in 2014 was running for a seat on a Neighborhood Advisory Commission. Matt told me what inspired him to run and what he thinks he’ll bring to the commission if he wins the election (unfortunately he did not).
