New interview tomorrow (done prior to social distancing)!
For today, here’s the 60th Throwback Thursday: dinner in June 2014 with Brendan Kelleher, who talked about his website Behind The Craft. Brendan, a beer enthusiast, used the site to interviews owners of craft breweries and learn about the process of making specialty beers — in other words, drinking with strangers. We met at Pizzeria Paradiso in DC’s Dupont Circle for an enjoyable talk and meal.
Sadly it appears that Behind The Craft is no longer online. But Pizzeria Paradiso appears to be attempting to weather the coronavirus storm by offering delivery from some of its locations during social distancing, so if you live in the city please consider ordering from the venue.
