Podcast #13

Ooh, number 13, unlucky for some.

Lynda Eselp might have felt unlucky in May 2009 given that she had to spend an evening in Brooklyn sitting across from me and listening to me firing questions at her while scarfing down my dinner. But if she was feeling that way she hid it well. It was one of the most relaxed interviews I’ve done, even if our choice of restaurant didn’t work out that well.

Today’s podcast revives my original interview with Lynda, a single mother who approaches life with relentless optimism. I recently called her for Friday’s upcoming “Where Are They Now?” interview and — spoiler alert — was pleased to discover she’s still the same outgoing person that I sat down to interview two years ago.
