Lorraine Bowen’s Reggaeton Crumble Song

Quirky British singer-songwriter Lorraine Bowen has just released her latest song, the “Reggaeton Crumble,” a homage to reggae, Latin music and London’s Notting Hill carnival.

Lorraine — the 47th stranger I met for dinner — found fame in the UK when she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent performing her song about cooking crumble, a type of English dessert. She’s since put out a Christmas-themed version of the hit, and now here she is with her reggaeton remix.

Visit Lorraine’s page on Bandcamp to get the song, which she promises will be “a hit with party crowds, festival types, birthdays, weddings and funerals!”

Also check out my dinner with Lorraine from way back in January 2013. We met in London and had a grand meal with a fitting ending — we stumbled upon a piano a train station, where she treated me (and many passersby) to an impromptu performance of the crumble song.
