Artist Jonathan Blum, a portrait painter featured on this site as the 101st dinner stranger, has just announced the shows where he’ll be presenting his unique works in the coming months. If you live in either New York or Washington, DC, I can highly recommend trying to meet Jonathan; his art is wonderful and he’s a charming person who will be happy to talk at length about his paintings. Here’s his calendar:
- Saturday May 11, 11am-6pm: 2nd Avenue Art/Craft Festival in New York between 66th Street and 86th Street
- Sunday May 12, 11am-6pm: Broadway Festival on Broadway, New York, between 60th Street and 65th Street
- Sunday May 19, 11am-6pm: 5th Avenue Fair in Park Slope, Brooklyn at 285 5th Avenue
- Sunday May 26, 10am-5.30pm: Grand Bazaar NYC, 100 West 77th Street
- Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2: Eastern Market in Washington, DC — his only visit to the city until the fall
- Sunday June 9: 10am-5.30pm: Grand Bazaar NYC, 100 West 77th Street
- Saturday June 15, 11am-6pm: Lexington Avenue Festival in New York between 60th Street and 66th Street
- Sunday June 16, 11am-6pm: Seventh Heaven on 7th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn
- Sunday June 23, 11am-6pm: Smith Street Festival in Carrol Gardens, Brooklyn
