Throwback Thursday 20 is the fourth and final interview from a weekend in Providence, Rhode Island, in April 2010.
Local photographer Amy Messere reached out to do an interview, saying she wanted to talk about her art but also her work as a waitress in a strip club. Amy was fun company, and encouraged me to get slightly buzzed on the mimosas we had at brunch at the (still open) Caffe Dolce Vita.
I’ve recapped the other dinners in previous Throwback Thursday posts. The first interview on the three-day trip was dinner with design student Robin Tafel. The next day I had a very enjoyable lunch with former radio show host and abortion rights advocate Mary Ann Sorrentino, followed by a fun dinner with realtor and blogger Bob Black. I had a blast in Providence and would be happy to return soon.
