Fans of the Rocky movies might enjoy the 39th Throwback Thursday — an afternoon with actor Burt Young (Paulie from the boxing film series) in Port Washington, New York, in October 2011.
Burt talked about his lengthy acting career, but also discussed his other loves of painting and writing. Before we got lunch, he and his girlfriend met me at Burt’s apartment, which also doubles as his painting studio. He proudly showed off his artwork, and I featured it prominently in the article.
Then we made a short journey to Louie’s, one of his favorite restaurants in Port Washington, for a highly enjoyable dinner with a stranger.
