Today’s Throwback Thursday feature is my 76th interview; a dinner with actor Fred Melamed and his wife Leslee Spieler Melamed in Beverly Hills. We met at The Palm in May 2015 for a very lengthy and highly enjoyable meal, learning about their life stories.
Fred has a lengthy filmography that includes the movies A Serious Man and In A World… and a host of television shows including Girls, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House of Lies and much more. He revealed what first got him into acting, but also spent a long time talking about his fascinating past including being raised by adopted parents and later meeting his birth mother.
There’s a lot to learn about Fred and his wife, so much that I divided the article into part one and part two.
