Actor and broadcaster Zeb Soanes, the 28th dining stranger, is touring in England over the coming months with “Two Halves Of Guinness,” a new play about acclaimed thespian Sir Alec Guinness.
It marks the 25th anniversary of Guinness’ death. The two-time Oscar winner appeared in almost 70 plays, 50 films and more than a dozen television dramas. His work spanned Shakespeare, classic Ealing comedies like “Kind Hearts and Coronets” and more — but many people know him as Obi-Wan Kenobi from “Star Wars.”
The play is a “witty, heartfelt tour through Guinness’ extraordinary life and career – his encounters with John Gielgud, Shakespeare, and the galaxy of stage and screen stars who shaped his journey,” its website says.
On the site, you can find details about upcoming performance dates and tickets for shows taking place March 19-21 in Bath, April 18 in Norwich and then the last scheduled show April 20-May 2 in London.
