After 16 years and 143 dinners, Dining With Strangers is finally on Instagram.
Starting today, I’m archiving the entire interview series on Instagram from the very beginning in November 2008, when I had brunch with a friend in New York and came up with the idea for this site.
Each post features a photo from the interview, a quote from the conversation, and a brief note on who the person is and what made the dinner worth remembering. Some of these people have gone on to remarkable things since we met. Some are no longer with us. All of them had a story worth telling.
If you’ve been reading this site for a while (hello mum and dad!), this is a chance to revisit the archive in a new way. If you’re new, it’s a good place to start from the beginning.
