Interview 139: Lunch With Actor Robert Factor

“I’m a great talker,” Robert Factor told me when I invited him to lunch. “People love my stories.”

He wasn’t kidding.

For the 139th interview, I met the endearing actor and writer at Panda Inn in Glendale, California. Across a table of Chinese food, Robert shared tales from a life that’s gone from juvenile hall to the stage, from NBC’s mailroom to cult movie sets, and from heartbreak to reinvention.

We cover his past, present, and dreams for the future, including why he never chased fame, why his friends think he should write a memoir, and how he wound up kissing one of Clint Eastwood’s daughters on camera.
