Just a quick update suggesting that any DC-based readers of these site may want to vote in the Washingtonian Magazine’s pizza pool contest, aiming to pick the public’s brains to find the best pizza spot in the District of Columbia.
Well, all right, not literally pick the public’s brains because that would just be gruesome and wrong. Unless it was the plot of a kooky horror movie that somehow combined pizza, zombies and…
…wait, I got off track. Oh, that’s right. One of the contenders is Pete’s Apizza, a great pizzeria conveniently just one block from my house. The owners have been featured on this site in my most recent dinner with a stranger. Here’s wishing everyone at Pete’s the best of luck.
In site news: enjoyed two dinners in New York recently, three interviews coming up in New Orleans this weekend. After that, I get to start the fun task of transcribing them, so expect some new articles soon-ish.
