Dining With Strangers On Hold (Temporarily)

Social distancing right now is imperative to help battle the coronavirus pandemic, and I’m staying cooped up at home. That means I won’t be leaving the house to meet any strangers for dinner interviews for at least the near future.

I do have three interviews to write up that I conducted in February (two in Atlanta, one in New York) long before any social distancing or stay in place orders were issued, and my plan is to post those over the coming weeks. But after those three articles are online things will get pretty quiet here for a bit.

Hopefully once it’s safe for people to meet for meals at restaurants again I can meet some more strangers, so if you’re interested still get in touch about booking a dinner and we can schedule it at some point in the future.

In the meantime, if you live in the DC area, the wonderful Laura Hayes at Washington City Paper has a comprehensive list of bars and restaurants in the city launching fundraisers for employees and other expenses during the pandemic. Please help out if you can.
