Interview 111: Lunch With Donna Lynne Champlin

Donna Lynne Champlin is an accomplished stage, television and film actress whose most recent credits include the role of Paula Proctor on the CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Hortense Bellacourt on Comedy Central’s Another Period.

She’s also great company for lunch.

Earlier this month, during a holiday to Los Angeles, I met Donna Lynne at Messhall Kitchen where I expected a straightforward biography tracing her story from childhood to early trials and tribulations to present and future plans.

That can all wait for part two of my two-part interview, because the first is an unexpected in-depth chat with Donna Lynne about metaphsyics and spirituality, and how a diversion into working as a reflexologist for several years finally gave her the personal growth she needed to return to acting full time.
