The first dinner interview of the year, and the 143rd overall, will be online in a few weeks.
Today’s article is a throwback to my 110th interview. In October 2018 I had lunch with Pierre Phipps and Terrance Wilson, also known as gay rap duo Freaky Boiz, to hear about how they’re making a mark on the music industry.
While in college in Chicago, the best friends joked around and made a rap video singing about their gay sex lives. They posted it online and it went viral overnight, earning them the name Freaky Boiz for their rap act. They’ve taken that fame and built it into a major brand, and had grand plans for the future sharing their talents with the world.
